Did you know that the “Bulldog” and the “Rhodesian” are the two types of varieties of Bulldog pipes? With a cylinder-shaped upper half and a ridged or capped lower half, these pipes have a distinctive angular appearance. These pipes are distinguished by their distinctive diamond-shaped shank. The shape of the rim is the primary distinction between Bulldog and Rhodesian pipes, with the Bulldog having a flatter, more angular trim and the Rhodesian having a rounder, more curved edge. The Tuyau de bouledogue is extremely comfortable to hold between teeth and lips while smoking due to its broad and flared mouthpiece. Bulldog pipes are less difficult to smoke than other pipes, such as straight billiard or London-style pipes.
