Are briar pipes good?

I have briar, corn cob, and morta pipes. ‘I’ve only ever had one pipe fashioned with Strawberry Wood (rather than Strawberry Briar).’
Strawberry Wood was a complete flop. According to what I’ve seen and read, the content has a lot more problems.

Briar pipes, as compared to Corn cob pipes, will last considerably longer, but they are surprisingly sturdy and able to withstand a hammering. They will allow you to test different tobaccos and cigarettes to discover how you like the activity. If you want a pipe that will last longer, I recommend a briar pipe. A good quality briar  pipe may last 2-4 years, and if you use a tobacco pipe filter, the pipe will survive much longer.
